Join the fun.  And Guerrilla Giving is fun.  But don’t take our word for it.  Give it a whirl.

Send us a picture or video of you or your gift in action.  We’ll gladly post them (with your name or anonymously) to this blog.  If you want to afford your gift recipients the opportunity to comment on their experience of receiving your gift, be sure to direct them to this site.  We include a little note with our gifts that reads – “A Gift for You from guerrillagiving.org  Have a great day. ”

How much/what should you give?  That’s entirely up to you.  Give what you can/what you’d like.  We’re committed to giving away 10% of our annual gross income in daily increments.  Our goal is to increase that percentage in time.  We give money, time, things.  You may decide to start with a one time gift of a dollar or a hundred dollars/an hour volunteering/a box of donuts for a group of construction workers etc.  The gift’s actual value is less important than your intention to share unconditionally, joyfully, simply to brighten the day of a fellow human being.

Not exactly guerrrila giving but the spirit reaaly seems to be spreading. My 17 year old grandson wants us to sponser a needy family in our community in lieu of gifts this year. I have been trying to get my family to do this for years! I always do what I can for the needy for Christmas but this year will be wonderful, we are all so excited and looking forward to shopping for our “family”. I am so proud of this young man, under that teenage attitude is a heart of gold. And thank you for your guerrilla giving project, very inspiring! I will be e-mailing your site to friends and family.

    • Thank-you so much for sharing your story Janet. You have a wonderful grandson. The biggest blessing is to witness a heart of compassion growing and glowing in the lives of our loved ones. No doubt, you have been a source of inspiration for him and your family. What a special holiday you and your sponsored family will have this Christmas!

What a wonderful ideal! As a single mother I do what I can and last year as a family, we helped a homeless gentleman ( who was in his late 60’s) get off the street…and now we are blessed with another Grandpa….and since then, I’ve been looking for another way….this just might fit the bill….
now whenever i go for walks I am scoping out places to leave little bundles! will go buy supplies (ribbon and paper and baggies…:) today!

    • Three cheers!!! That’s fantastic Dawn Marie. We’re so happy that you’re inspired to do this. Clearly, from your story, you have a heart for giving and we are certain that your gifts of kindness will brighten other people’s lives and inspire them as well. We’d love to post some pics of your gifts if you’d like. Thanks so much for commenting here. Blessings to you! :)
